Family Meeting: The Best Worst Things
Welcome to this week’d edition of Family Meeting! If you’re new here, head over to this article to become acquainted with the Structure of our Family Meetings.
This week we are going to dive deep into our lives and reflect on some of the moments that, while originally felt like the worst things, but turned out to be the best. This change in perspective, however, as we know, didn’t come until later - with time. Until we saw the pieces of the puzzle start to come together and said to ourselves: “Ah! I’m so glad ____ didn’t work out….”
Life is full of surprises, some of which initially seem like obstacles or even failures. Yet, it's often these unexpected detours that lead us to new paths, greater strengths, and unanticipated joys. "The Best Worst Things" is not just a phrase but a perspective that teaches us resilience, adaptability, and the hidden value in life's less favourable moments.
Let’s dive deep and give our kids some perspective through our own rich experiences!
